Joshua graduated from the University of Reading in 2011 with a degree in Law (LLB). Whilst at University, Joshua worked both internationally (Zimbabwe) and domestically covering international law and human rights.
After completing his LPC at the College of Law (Guildford), Joshua joined a local Criminal Defence Firm where he worked as a Police Station Representative. In 2013 he commenced his training in its Complex Cases Department working on offences ranging from serious sexual assault to murder.
Joshua joined Gordons in March 2014. Following the completion of his training contract, he joined our Healthcare department full time from January 2015. His time is split between our claims and regulatory departments within the Healthcare team.
His claims practice includes defence of complex high value litigation. He has experience defending cases involving a wide range of medical conditions including; cauda equina syndrome, renal failure, spinal injuries, complex neurological injuries, meningitis and limb loss.
Joshua has also built a steady regulatory practice assisting healthcare professionals at their various regulatory bodies; General Medical Council, General Dental Council. He has particular experience with Prison Inquests undertaking his own advocacy as and when appropriate. He also continues to advise clients at the police station and throughout the criminal process.
Outside of work Joshua is a keen rugby fan.
