Habiba graduated with a BSc (Hons) Economics from University College London before completing the M.Phil. in Economics at Oxford University. She spent several years working in public policy research and statistical analysis before deciding to embark on a career in law. She completed the Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP in 2010.
After achieving a distinction in the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Guildford, Habiba joined in September 2016 to work as a paralegal and in 2017 became a trainee solicitor in the Property department. In September 2018 Habiba joined the Healthcare Department. She has been assisting on a number of clinical negligence claims defending doctors both on a private basis and on behalf of a leading medical defence organisation. She also gained experience in claims involving allegations of discrimination and vicarious liability.
