Jude completed her first degree in Drama and Comparative Literature at the University of Kent. She spent a number of years working in the financial sector before converting to law. She joined Gordons as a trainee in 1998, qualified in 2000 and became a partner in 2007. She is based in our London office.
Jude specialises in company, commercial and employment law. Her particular commercial expertise is in dealing with venture capital, private equity investment and acquisitions and disposals.
She also practices in all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law. She provides day to day support for a number of large employers and her measured, patient advice is appreciated by employers and employees alike.
Here are a few of the comments she has received from satisfied clients.
“Jude demonstrates compassion, integrity and a sense of ‘fair play’ in even the most challenging cases, particularly when emotions are running high.
Jude always walks us through the process, communicates brilliantly so that we are clear regarding next steps/timelines and has a virtually 100% success rate in minimizing liability to our organisation.
Aside from her commercial, resourceful and tenacious attributes, Jude possesses an appropriately dry sense of humour, which has sustained me in times of great pressure!
I trust her judgment implicitly and would not hesitate to recommend her services”.
Lea-Ann McLean – HR Director, Janson Computers plc
“Jude has advised me in connection with numerous investments over the course of more than a decade. She’s always been quick to understand and isolate the issues and provide friendly, practical and commercial advice at great value.”
