We currently have 6 trainees.

The process we follow is to recruit budding solicitors into paralegal roles for the first 6-12 months. We find that this helps candidates settle into their role, whilst gaining experience to potentially move into a training contract (“TC”) or qualifying work experience (“QWE”) position.

We accept candidates through either of the two routes currently available.

If you are looking for a TC, you will need a good 2.1 degree, this degree does not necessarily need to be in law. You must also have passed the GDL (if applicable) and LPC.

If you are looking for QWE, you will need a good 2.1 degree, this degree does not necessarily need to be in law. You must also have passed SQE1.

Although, you can apply at any time, we usually ask potential candidates to apply to us around January/February and July/August, this is to coincide with our trainee rotations.

If you are interested in joining us, applications should be sent by e-mail to applications@gordonsols.co.uk with a covering letter and a copy of your CV.

If you are seeking a new opportunity or challenge and have a client following or a ‘portable practice’ then we are certainly interested in speaking to you, whether you want to work in London or Guildford.

Those who have joined us from larger firms have certainly not regretted their moves. If you would like to talk to us, please contact hr@gordonsols.co.uk.  Any approach is dealt with in a discreet manner and in confidence.

We kindly ask that you do not approach us via recruitment agencies.
